Robert A. Callans - B.L.A., FASLA, Architect Consultant

Robert "Bob" A. Callans will serve as the Architectural Specialist on the Road Construction Design Team on projects in Ghana with Innovative Global Consulting, LLC. He is the President and CEO of Bob Callans and Associates (BC&A) has been practicing landscape architecture in Arkansas and surrounding states since l976. Bob has been Owner/President of BC & A for 32 years and has been involved in all aspects of landscape architecture with specific expertise in streetscape, land design park/trail design, commercial design, and residential design. BC & A is capable of providing to the client conceptual designs, master plans, and construction drawings, as well as, specifications and contract documents.

Mr. Callans was appointed in 2000 and served two years as Acting Director of Garvan Woodland Botanical Gardens by the Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas. Bob taught as an adjunct professor for design and plant identification courses for the associates of arts in landscape management and design degree for the Donaghey Project for Urban Studies and Design with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock since 1996. Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1967-71 and received an Honorable Discharge. He obtained his Bachelor of Landscape Architect from Louisiana State University in l976, and he is a Registered Landscape Architect, Arkansas #36, and member of Fellow - American Society of Landscape Architects, 1995.
