Princess Deun A. Ogunlana - President/CEO

Princess Deun A. Ogunlana is President/CEO of Innovative Global Consulting, LLC, and the Managing Director of African Innovative Global Company Nigeria Limited. Ms. Ogunlana has over ten years of experience in providing consulting services to international health and women empowered associations, agribusiness and investment firms. Ms. Ogunlana's experience also includes grant writing, conducting research, designing innovative marketing strategies, and global sourcing consulting. She also has experience in trade negotiations, global trade flows, and business development for clients in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe with specialization in biotechnology policies, trade policy, health policy, agricultural policy, and market development activities. Furthermore, with years of commercial and consulting expertise in developed and emerging markets, Ms, Ogunlana has successfully initiated and concluded numerous successful partnering alliances. She has assisted in the positioning of new products and technologies by producing actionable market research, technology assessment, and competitive intelligence studies.

She is also the Founder and Executive Director of AWHPI, Inc - an international non-profit organization that focuses on empowering women globally thru health, economic developments, and trade associations and partnerships. Ms. Ogunlana has an international office in Nigeria and leads an organization that sets up free medical clinics, distributing medicines, medical equipment, and supplies to women and children in impoverished areas in Africa. In November 2008, she was appointed as the Country Coordinator of Nigerian Sister Cities by the African Global Sister Cities Foundation under the umbrella of Sister Cities International - www.sci.org to provide effective leadership support in the coordination of all programs and activities of all sister cities in Nigeria working towards the achievement of SCI's goals.

Ms. Ogunlana graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) in 1991 with a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis on Public Information Specialist. She has completed Graduate and further IT studies in International Consulting and Public Policy from the Southern California University for Professional Studies in Santa Ana, California and UALR respectively.

She has received numerous volunteer and Governor's Community Service awards and recently received the National Leadership Award as Honorary Chairman of NRCC. Ms. Ogunlana is a recipient of "The Chlarissa Pope Woman in the Mirror" Community Award. She is currently recognized and listed in the Honor's Edition as a 2009/2010 Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in America.
